Tax Advisor Barry G. Fowler, EA Encourages Annual Review of Credit Report
Barry G. Fowler, EA, leading expert in tax resolution issues and CEO of Taxation Solutions proposes annual review of credit report for anyone just starting to establish credit, those with a history of good credit as well as those making a comeback after financial setback.
Houston, TX – July 15., 2016 – Barry G. Fowler, CEO of Taxation Solutions, posted a new blog on the company website entitled “Become and Remain Credit Worthy.” Mr. Fowler takes a conservative approach to credit understanding that having access to credit is an essential part of life.
Fowler writes, “Being credit worthy is a big deal in our society. And, while there are host of important numbers in your financial world, few are as critical as your credit score.” He continues adding, “Your FICO score, ranging from 0-850, affects your ability to buy a house or car, get a loan, qualify for a credit card, or even get a job.”
For the uninitiated, Fowler offers an explanation, “FICO scores are based on your credit reports, which in turn are based on four elements: 1) Personal information 2) Credit history 3) Credit report inquiries, and 4) Public records.”
According to Fowler, “An annual review of your credit report provides information and allows you to do the following: See who has made inquiries about your credit, check it for errors, find out if you’re an identity theft victim, and determine your chances of getting a loan.” He adds, “It’s a good practice for everyone to establish and may be even more important if you have excellent credit.”
